Quick verdict
The Husky H194MTS has a lot going for it on paper: 194 pieces, three drive sizes, 125 sockets, 14 combination wrenches, quick-release ratchets, extenders and a lifetime hand-tool warranty. Our long-term ownership was more mixed because the first case eventually failed and the large ratchet in the exact replacement set would not retain a socket on its first brake job.
What we liked about our original set
We owned the first Husky 194-piece set for a long time and got useful work out of it. We especially liked having more combination wrenches and included extensions. Those are exactly the pieces we later missed when we switched sets.
The weak point for us was the case. Eventually it broke enough that it would not close correctly, which is a bigger problem than it sounds when nearly 200 pieces depend on that case for organization.
Why we returned the replacement
We bought an exact replacement H194MTS. On the first day we took it out for a brake job, the large ratchet would not allow the socket to stay on the drive. We returned the set rather than trying to live with a defective new ratchet.
That is one sample, not evidence that every set will fail. It is still important to mention because it directly changed what we bought next.
