Quick verdict
Durable bits in a convenient little case, with no broken bits in our set after years of mixed use.
We have used this Montana set since around 2018 on wood and metal and have had consistently good results.
What we have drilled
The set has seen an assortment of wood and metal work. One memorable use was helping drill out a stripped screw, where the bit took the abuse without becoming the next broken piece we had to extract.
What has broken?
None of the bits in this particular set have broken for us. Drill bits are consumables and any bit can be damaged by the wrong speed, side loading or hard material, so we would not interpret that as a promise that they are unbreakable. It is simply our long-term result.
The packaging is part of why we like it
The case is compact, the sizes are laid out clearly and the bits are quick to access. That sounds minor until you are on a job and do not want loose drill bits rolling around a pouch.
We also use Montana countersink bits
We have also used a Montana countersink set with good results. We have replaced a bit in that set over time, which is not unusual for a cutting tool that gets regular use. We do not currently have a firsthand photo of that countersink set, so we are keeping the photographic review here focused on the drill bits shown.
